Sacred Heart Church: it is hoped that work on the refurbishment of the Sacred Heart Church can progress over the coming weeks and months. It has taken a lot of time and effort to get to this point. As the church will not be in public use for the duration of the project, people are asked to refrain from seeking entry to it.
Sunday Mass will be celebrated each Sunday at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Monea. Those who are involved in church ministry in Boho are invited to continue this ministry on the designated Sundays in Monea.
Many of you have supported the renovation work in the parish over recent years and I thank you sincerely for that support. In order for the Sacred Heart project to be completed I appeal to you to continue offering whatever help you can. I invite those who ordinarily do not contribute to the parish, to consider offering your financial support at this time. The Sacred Heart Church has been available to countless generations over the years. It provides a gathering space for the various sacraments that we receive and liturgies that we celebrate. The current refurbishment will ensure that it continues to be a focal point for years to come. If every wage earner was to make a commitment towards the renovation work, it would help lighten the burden for those who support the parish regularly.
There are many ways by which you can offer support – through the weekly parish envelope system, by way of a standing order to the parish, by making an annual contribution, to name but a few. Please contact Nora, the parish secretary, on 028 6864 1889 or botha@clogherparishes.ie to discuss how you can help.
